Golden Matcha Latte (Hot or Cold)
Latte lovers rejoice! This easy recipe is the perfect drink for you on those busy mornings. It's healthy, delicious and can be made at home with just a few simple ingredients.
Ingredients:
- 1/3 cup light coconut milk
- 3/4 cup water
- 1/4 tsp ground turmeric
- 1/8 tsp ground cinnamon
- 1/8 tsp ground ginger
- 1 pinch ground black pepper
- 1 pinch ground cardamom
- 1/2 – 1 Tbsp maple syrup or honey
- 1/2 – 1 tsp ceremonial matcha
Directions:
- Add all ingredients except matcha to milk frother, if you don’t have one you can put it in a pan on the stove until warm and mix together well
- Sift your matcha powder into bowl, add 2 oz warm water and whisk until smooth and blended.
- Combine the milk mixture and your matcha. Enjoy!
Alternatively, if you have a “golden milk” mixture, make this how you would normally with milk, and add your mixed matcha to it.
